Rev Simon Maina and Phyllis Maina lead Newspring Church Kenya with a shared heart for discipleship, family, and community transformation. Together, they bring a passion for building authentic relationships and raising up the next generation of Christ-followers. Serves as the leader of our Worship Team, where he dedicates himself to creating an atmosphere of authentic and transformative praise. Under his guidance, the team facilitates worship experiences that connect our congregation with God's presence, helping to lead hearts in adoration and celebration through music and song.
Leads our Community Life and Member Care ministry, focusing on building a strong, supportive, and connected church family. He works diligently to ensure every member feels seen, cared for, and integrated into the life of the church, fostering the deep relationships that are the bedrock of our community.
Heads our Discipleship Ministry, committed to guiding believers into deeper spiritual growth and maturity. He oversees the development and implementation of pathways that equip individuals to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, understand Biblical truths, and apply them in their daily lives.
Leads our Evangelism and Community Outreach efforts, spearheading the church's mission to share the Gospel beyond our walls. He mobilizes teams to serve and engage with the wider community, demonstrating Christ's love through practical action and compassionate outreach initiatives.
Directs our Key of Hope (KOH) outreach programs, channeling his passion into discipleship for the next generation. His leadership focuses on reaching children and youth with the love of Christ, creating engaging programs that foster faith, hope, and positive development within our community.
Provides essential leadership in Administration and Support, ensuring the operational foundation of all our ministries is strong and effective. His role is crucial in managing resources, logistics, and systems, allowing every other ministry team to function with excellence and focus on their mission.
